With perseverance and common sense of those who may not know Latin but well aware of the human soul, Giummaro and Bellavia finally discover what happened, and may explain why the book vanished. However, the expected truth burns in the hands of two researchers: the final report submitted to the authorities causes a wave of panic that goes through the territory between Rome and Sicily with a flood of telegrams, messages and threats.
