In response Jason Russell, director and founder of Invisible Children, Jacob promises to help bring Kony to justice. The film calls for the arrest of forced recruitment of children and the restoration of social order. Interlaced with the above video contains segments of the son of Jason Russell, Gavin. The explanations given to Gavin on the situation in Central Africa also serve as setting the stage for the public.
