" The War on Democracy " is an award winning and illuminating review of interference policy that even the United States has conducted on Latin America since 1945. John Pilger conducted exclusive interviews with U.S. government officials, including agents who reveal for the first time how the CIA has deployed and is also displaying his private war in Latin America. Under the veil of promoting democracy, to care for its national security, hides the true meaning of work, supported by the elites of weaker states to, in short, make the possession of natural resources. Pilger argues that true popular democracy is found rather among the poorest countries in Latin America, whose movements and progress are ignored by the media.
