MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1915 film?

Cecil B. DeMille's thought-to-be-lost 1915 silent film The Captive, is a discovered treasure. Set throughout the Balkan Wars, The Captive informs the tale of Sonia (Blanche Sweet, The Woman in White), a new girl surviving in Montenegro and left to look after the woman younger cousin Milos (Gerald Ward, The Warrens of Virginia) while the family members farm when older bro Marko (Page Peters, Davy Crockett) goes to battle. Struggling to handle the day-to-day tasks following her cousin's tragic death, assistance comes in the type of Mahmud Hassan (home Peters, Prisoners for the Storm) a captured Turk nobleman now a prisoner of war. Tasked with helping Sonia, their initial frosty relationship quickly melts into love. As the war rages on Sonia, Mahmud and Milos will face near-insurmountable hurdles inside their pursuit of a much better life amidst the hell of war.
