MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1991 film?

Nicholas, a young Parisian artist, traveling with his girlfriend Marianne to a small provincial town to visit Edouard Frenhofer, a famous painter who lives there recluse. Nicholas tries to persuade him to paint his last great painting: The beautiful liar with his girlfriend as a model.
