MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2010 film?

Brazilian journalist who lives 25 years ago in New York, Laura goes every night at the coolest parties, attending the most expensive restaurants in town, gets into previews of the hottest movies, and yet lives in a kind of pension in Manhattan where she has to share a bathroom with other residents of the apartment, mostly illegal immigrants. Feel seen and recognized, in a constant struggle against failure and anonymity is the only way for Laura still alive. The film questions what does success mean examines the fear of returning home, unconscious pressure of a family abandoned in Curitiba, and the conscious creation of a fantasy as a form of protection.
