MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1999 film?

Masao is a nine year old who get to spend the summer with her grandmother. No more football games, as all his friends have gone to the beach. Bored, Masao decides to go in search of his mother, who does not know. With a photograph and an address as only references, and very little money, the plan seems doomed to failure.
