MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1989 film?

Samantha is a young woman who even lives in a small town in Kentucky with her uncle Emmett, a Vietnam veteran who, since his return from the war, has become a gentleman sullen and unsociable. Sam's father died in the war before she was born, and his mother remarried and went to another location. Sam would like his uncle talk about Vietnam and about his father, however on the other hand Emmett lives locked in itself and although consuming resentment, all I want to forget everything. However, little by little, between uncle and niece establishing a close relationship that will enable the reconstruction of everything the Vietnam War destroyed.
