MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1969 film?

On the one hand, is a fun -totalitarian political allegory to the " Ubu Roi " by Alfred Jarry, on the other, a fascinating recreation of silent film with Nordic streak. In a fictional island inhabited by human beings whose names begin with the letter G, a death row inmate is pardoned by whim of the monarch. Unintentionally, this character is that the Queen has sex with her riding instructor. The rush events: no suicides, murders, settling scores and even a surreal resurrection. The funeral scene inspired a piece very similar in cinematográgica " Benjamenta Institut ", the Brothers Quay.
