MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2000 film?

Occur China inside 1930s, the film is all about the unsettling relationship between three figures. Ing'er, the daughter of a theatre-owner, welcomes the return of Shao-dung, her fiancee and an excellent cellist from America. Shao-dung soon discovers himself captivated by the opera 'Fleeing When the sun goes down' and its particular celebrated star, Lin Chung, whoever sound appears to articulate one thing within himself. While Shao-dung attempts to blend eastern and western music, Ing'er becomes torn between her love for both guys, and a knowledge for the growing intimacy between them. - Compiled By Strand Releasing
