MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1961 film?

O matuto Marcelino vem do interior tentar a vida no Rio de Janeiro. O seu tio Simão, chofer de praça e morador numa favela com Sofia, vem recepcioná-lo na estação ferroviária. Uma vizinha, Tereza, se interessa pelo recém chegado. No cais, o bandido Zé recebe um pacote, sendo perseguido por policiais. Na boate Caverna se apresenta Mira Diler. No seu camarim encontra-se o criminoso Zé, ferido e sem o pacote. Valentino reclama da ação da polícia que está atrapalhando os seus 'negócios'. Marcelino ainda não encontrou trabalho; ao mesmo tempo tenta vender suas composições sem sucesso. Ele passa a ajudar o tio como chofer, mas coloca suas preocupações na frente: recusa um freguês para encontrar-se na TV Guanabara com o cantor Francisco Carlos. Marcelino vai à boate procurar Mira, mas vê-se envolvido nas tramas de Valentino. (Cinemateca Brasileira).
