Spoils of War focuses on the story of the birth and growth of the Association of Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo, with the appalling socio- political phenomenon given rationale: The systematic appropriation of the children of the disappeared by the dictatorship Argentina between 1976/1983. That after kidnapping, torturing and murdering parents, gave their babies up for adoption to members and "friends" of the regime.
